A defined record begins with information that is easy to find.

1. Who is responsible for this website

This privacy policy describes the handling of personal information in connection with Margin Register at beckalyndesign.com. The publisher and contact point is Logic Document Archiving Limited, 6 The Arcade, Llanelli, SA15 3TW, United Kingdom. Contact by email: [email protected]. Telephone: +447929374788.

This policy covers the publisher’s website activity and communications addressed to the publisher. It does not cover personal data collected by DocuWare when a visitor follows a link to that independent product provider. DocuWare determines the information it requests and how it handles demonstration enquiries on its own website.

2. Information we may handle

When a visitor accesses a website, limited technical information may be processed by the hosting and delivery infrastructure, such as an IP address, requested pages, browser and device information, referring page, date, time and security-related diagnostics. This information is relevant to delivering pages, preserving website availability and investigating abuse or faults.

If a person chooses to write to or telephone the publisher, the information they provide may include their name, organisation, contact details, the contents of their enquiry and subsequent correspondence. Please avoid sending contracts, special-category personal information or confidential documents unless the publisher has specifically agreed an appropriate arrangement.

We do not ask visitors to enter payment card details or upload business documents on this website. Requests made on the official DocuWare website are separate from any communication with Margin Register.

3. Why information is processed and on what grounds

Where technical information is necessary to deliver a requested website page or maintain its security, processing may be based on legitimate interests in operating a reliable information service and, where relevant, the steps necessary to provide the requested service. Any reliance on legitimate interests is subject to consideration of the visitor’s rights and reasonable expectations.

When someone contacts the publisher voluntarily, their details may be used to read the enquiry, respond and maintain a proportionate record of the correspondence. The legal basis may be legitimate interests in responding to business communications, or taking steps at the individual’s request before entering into an arrangement, depending on the nature of the message. Where consent is specifically sought for an optional use, it can be withdrawn.

Personal data is not used for unrelated advertising simply because a person reads an article. Electronic direct marketing, if introduced, would be subject to applicable consent and marketing rules and would require a corresponding update to this notice.

4. Cookies and similar storage

The site uses essential browser storage to remember a visitor’s selection in the cookie notice. Optional advertising, behavioural profiling and third-party analytics trackers are not activated by the website as supplied. The cookie policy provides more detail about categories and controls.

Some external services, including the independent DocuWare website reached through an outbound link, operate under their own cookie and privacy notices. Visiting the product provider is a separate interaction; the publisher does not control that provider’s storage technologies.

5. Sharing and service providers

Website delivery or communications may involve providers of hosting, network infrastructure or email services, where these providers are necessary to operate the relevant service. They may process limited information on the publisher’s behalf or under their own applicable responsibilities. Access should be restricted to what is needed for delivery, support and security.

Information may also need to be disclosed where law requires it, to respond to a lawful request or to protect legal rights. The publisher does not describe DocuWare as its processor for demonstration requests: visitors who request a demo do so directly with that independent provider.

6. International access and transfers

Website infrastructure and email communication may involve access from locations outside the United Kingdom. Where a transfer of personal information is subject to UK data protection transfer rules, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and safeguards must be considered before that transfer takes place.

An individual may request information about applicable transfer safeguards using the publisher’s contact details. External websites linked from this publication apply their own arrangements and should be reviewed independently.

7. Retention and deletion

Technical information is retained only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the operation, integrity and security of the website, subject to legal requirements and the applicable retention settings of the hosting service. Enquiry correspondence is retained for the period required to deal with the communication, any subsequent legitimate relationship and relevant legal obligations, rather than indefinitely by default.

Where information is no longer required for its original and any compatible lawful purpose, reasonable steps should be taken to delete it, anonymise it or restrict its use as appropriate. Retention requests can be directed to the publisher for review.

8. Your rights under UK data protection law

Depending on the circumstances and applicable exemptions, individuals may have rights to be informed, access their personal data, correct inaccurate records, request erasure, restrict processing, object to certain processing and receive data portability. Where processing depends on consent, they may withdraw that consent.

The right to object to processing based on legitimate interests can be exercised by contacting the publisher. Requests will be assessed under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018; some rights are qualified and are not available in every circumstance. You may also raise a complaint directly with the publisher.

9. Complaints and supervisory authority

If you have a concern about personal information handled by the publisher, please contact [email protected] or write to Logic Document Archiving Limited, 6 The Arcade, Llanelli, SA15 3TW. The publisher should be given an opportunity to investigate and respond to the concern.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the supervisory authority for data protection matters. Further information is available from the ICO at ico.org.uk. Making an internal complaint does not remove your right to contact the ICO.

10. Changes to this policy

The publisher may revise this notice when its website services, handling of information or legal obligations change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Where a new use of personal information requires a further notice or consent, it should be provided before the new use begins.

This notice was last updated on 12 October 2026.
